Breckin hit his 1 Year mark on Oct.14th as the last day he received cancer treatment in 2022!!

Woohoo!! Still Cancer Free!!

🎉 October 14th marked 1 year since Breckin finished cancer treatment.

Breckin was celebrated 🎉🎉 by his friends and teachers at his high school retreat. What a way to celebrate your one year mark!! Shannon and I are so glad this retreat fell on the same week as his one year mark of finishing cancer treatment.

When we picked Breckin up he was exhausted from all the fun he had with his friends.

Normal kid exhaustion. Not chemo exhausted. Healthy kid exhaustion. Not radiation exhausted.

If you ever see a child fight cancer, it will change your life forever.

96 chemo doses

3 different chemos

Many Blood & Platlet Transfusions

36 Radiation treatments on both brain & spine

Their childhood put on hold. Passions, dreams and goals put on hold or faded away due to not knowing what the future looks like. Everyone else's life moving on while yours stands still.

The University of Tulsa Soccer Team made Breckin an Honorary Captain during their Sept. 29th Cancer Awareness game!

He was so Excited!!

Breckin just recently began refereeing for MTSC!

This is a BIG feat for him!!

Many of you have asked what is that in the corner of the room?

It's Infrared Light Therapy that we got for Breckin after his Brain Surgery in 2016 to help speed his healing process.

Is Infrared Light Therapy effective?

Absolutely. NIR polychromatic spectrum - which has been

documented through thousands of fundamental research studies to

analyze its effects on tissue repair, rejuvenation, and pain relief

mechanisms - has been methodically studied since 1965. NIR

photobiomodulation therapy is a non-invasive and highly effective

adjunct therapy in the field of prevention, as well as in the healing of

pressure-related issues such as bed sores and diabetic foot ulcers.

Therapeutic Effects

Non-invasive exposure of near-infrared (NIR) light therapy increases

microcirculation and promotes delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the

affected tissue. This optimal healing environment reduces

inflammation, swelling, muscle spasm, and stiffness. As the injured

tissue heals and returns to normal, pain is relieved and function is

restored.

Cell and Tissue Effects

Medical professionals utilize low level light therapy - which is

designed to lessen pain, reduce inflammation, and enhance lymphatic

drainage - to treat issues associated with:

• Musculoskeletal injuries

• Neck, shoulder, knee, and lower back

• Golfer's elbow

• Achilles heel

• Plantar fasciitis

• Sport injuries

• Ruptured ligament

• Tendon, muscle rips, and strains

• Osteoarthritis

• Diabetic neuropathy

• Myofascial

• Temporomandibular joint (TMJ)

• Lymphedema

I offer it at half the cost of most facilities utilizing this high quality, expensive therapy.

**20 min sessions are $30 and package of 6 for $150.

Thank you for being such great patients!
